I recently purchased a Nike Free Run 2.0 from the same person whom I bought the Kobe VII Year of the Dragon. I bought it for PHP1300 (approximately US$31.16) and at that time there's a free shipping promo. The reason I bought a new pair of shoes is because a runner should have at least two pairs of running shoes that he/she can use alternately. I already retired two pairs of running shoes (I used the latest retired shoes as my casual shoes). If you are hook in running I definitely recommend buying two pairs of shoes even if its not expensive. A good running shoes should give ample amount of support and comfort.

Hyundai Run For A Cause 2012
Last Sunday, April 29, Hyundai Asia Resource Inc (HARI) conducted their free fun run, the Hyundai Run For A Cause at Quirino Grandstand in Luneta. This is my second year attending the fun run by HARI. The first one was last year at the same place. The event offered 5km and 10km distances. I ran 5km for the first year and decided to run the 10km distance this year.

Peak Running Shoes
Last month, I purchased a new running shoes to replaced my 14-month old Umbro running shoes. I decided to replace my old running shoes because I felt pain in my left knee during a 7-km run although it goes away after two weeks of rest. Also, there's a part of my old shoes that's totally worn out telling me to replace it.
If I have extra money, I would buy another pair of shoes that I will use in running events/races only because ideally a runner should have two pairs of shoes, one for training and one for the race.
Peak Sport Products Co., Limited (Chinese: 匹克; pinyin: pǐ kè) is a Chinese sportswear/sports equipment company founded in 1989. PEAK SPORT S.R.L. (PEAK International) was established in 2000. PEAK International is based in Italy which focused on and new products and styles for our consumers, and distributing the PEAK brand all over the world. The company listed in Hong Kong in September 2009 and has a market capitalisation of US$1.4 bn. Peak’s turnover is likely to exceed US$500m sometime in 2011. - wikipedia.orgI bought this pair of shoes for a discounted price of PhP1,300 (roughly $30 in 1 US dollar = 42.8500 Philippine pesos exchange rate). This is the only pair of running shoes I used in my recent trainings and runs. I still used my old Umbro shoes when I go to gym.

Isang Araw Lang (Just One Day) Fun Run
This morning I participated a fun run organized by Unity Run. The event held at Mall of Asia in Pasay. The event called Isang Araw Lang (Just One Day) fun run. The purpose of the event is to raise funds to help various schools in the country. The running event is not only held in Mall of Asia but simultaneously held in different cities in the country. As I heard in the announcement, the fun run also held in different parts of the world but I don't remember what were those countries. So how's the fun run for me? You'll find out after the break.

MapMyRun
Is running one of your exercises/workouts? Would you like to know the distance that you are running? I have been using this site since the day I got interested in running. The basic reason I visited the site is to plan the route that I'm running and the distance it'll cover. The site is called MapMyRun.
