Trip to Davao: Day 4

Fourth day of my stay in Davao. I went to Davao Doctors Hospital in the morning and to Matina site in the afternoon.  During afternoon break time, we went to a local bakeshop which is located at the back of the hospital.  The bakeshop named Cecil's bakeshop.  We ordered two sweet breads, the chocolate eclair and cream puff.  The breads were made from the same kind of flour and fillings but the difference is the syrup on top.

Cecil's chocolate eclair
Cecil's cream puff
Each bread cost Php23.00.  At first, I thought the breads are hard but when I take the first bite, it's soft and the filling is well creamy.  We ordered to cut the breads in half so we can enjoy each piece of the breads.  The cream puff's syrup is a hardened caramel while in the eclair is (you guess it right) a hardened chocolate syrup.  I'm full already when I ate the half of each bread.  :D

After work, we decided to go to a souvenir place.  It is called Aldevinco Shopping Center.   The center houses different stores with different kind of souvenirs, from keychains, bags, wallets, caps, shirts, malong, and many more.  Wallets and bags were made from abaca fiber.  I bought a cap, two key chains, a bag and another cap that can be used as fan.

After the shopping I went to the hotel, rest a bit, ate my dinner in one of the carinderias near Gaisano mall and back to Tower Inn.  :D
