4th Philippine International Motor Show: Part 3
Hello fellow reader/blogger. Here's the third installment of my trip in the 4th Philippine International Motor Show. After my visit from Honda booth, BMW is my next stop. Just like the Mercedes-Benz, the booth of BMW gave that luxury feel. They displayed the 3 Series M Performance cars - 328i and 335i Cabriolet -, 528i Sport M Performance car, 650i Cabriolet, and Z4. At the center of their booth, there were merchandise on display like apparel and even road bikes. At the end of their booth, there's a hanging performance car model. Also, there's a room upstairs that can be viewed but I hesitated to look.

4th Philippine International Motor Show: Part 2
Here's the second part of my visit in the 4th Philippine International Motor Show. Nissan's booth is what I visited next. The company showed many different models in the show and they were Highway Star, Patrol, Urvan, X-trail, Frontier, Murano Z, Almera and Teana. They also showed the Juke crossover and 370z sports car. Here's a trivia, the car designer of 370z is Rudy Rodriguez a Canadian-born Filipino. Yup, you hear that right, a Filipino is the car designer of 370z sports car. Another reason that Filipino is truly world-class. By the time I visited their booth, they currently having a mini game and letting the visitors participate.

Nike Free Run 2.0
I recently purchased a Nike Free Run 2.0 from the same person whom I bought the Kobe VII Year of the Dragon. I bought it for PHP1300 (approximately US$31.16) and at that time there's a free shipping promo. The reason I bought a new pair of shoes is because a runner should have at least two pairs of running shoes that he/she can use alternately. I already retired two pairs of running shoes (I used the latest retired shoes as my casual shoes). If you are hook in running I definitely recommend buying two pairs of shoes even if its not expensive. A good running shoes should give ample amount of support and comfort.

Leg 3 (Running): Iberet Active Multisport 101 Camp
Last July 7, I attended the afternoon class of Multisport Iberet running clinic held at Bonifacio Hight Street activity area. The instructor of the running class was no other than coach Jojo Macalintal. There were sponsors' booth present in the clinic like Asics, L-Timestudio and Iberet. Like before, you register first in the registration booth and then have the stamp card stamped by the sponsors' booth. Once done, head back to the registration booth to drop your stamp card for the raffle. There's also a photo booth by Baicapture wherein you can take photo of yourself with the magazine and have a printed copy right away. Also, since I'm one of the early registrant, I got the chance to have another singlet from Multisport for free. To get the picture of the singlet you may go here. The weather on that day was cloudy and I saw a dark clouds at a distance but fortunately, it doesn't rain during the activity. There's also a baggage counter so every participant can leave their baggage safely during the running clinic.

Basketball Tournament: My New Uniform
This is the second time I'm joining the Basketball tournament organized in our division. Last year we unable to get the championship but managed to get 3rd place. This year, our team is stronger than before because we had imports from other department who were an official player of the company. But, other teams also get stronger so it's a matter of performance on the actual game that will dictate the winner. I hope that this year our team will be on the finals but I know it'll take more than good luck to get there. I'll train harder for the sake of the team.

Big Apple Express Spa
Last Saturday, me and my significant other went to Big Apple Express Spa. I bought a couple's voucher worth Php500 ($11.46) from CashCashPinoy, an online bargain site. The voucher consist of Balinese massage for men and Manhattan for women with free foot soak. We visited the branch at Tower 1 Cityland 10 in Makati, Philippines. It was my first time going to a spa but I do have an idea about it.
Once we entered the vicinity, it has this relaxing atmosphere. I wore jeans at that time but they required the visitors to wear shorts. Fortunately, the spa provided us a clean shorts for customers wearing jeans. First, they treated our feet, I upgraded the foot soak to foot scrub by adding Php100 ($2.29). Afterwards, we went to a room for couple and the massage begun. The Balinese massage took 60 minutes while the Manhattan took 45 minutes. After the massage was over, we were asked by the masseur if we need tea or water. The staff and personnel are friendly and professional.
We both enjoyed the massage and the treatment Big Apple Express Spa gave us. We will definitely come back to their branch. To know more about them you may go to their Facebook page by clicking the above picture.

My Church Visit on Holy Week 2012: Part 2
Here's the second part of our church visit during Holy Thursday.
8. St. Pio Chapel - Libis
The picture you see above is the last station in St. Pio chapel. We were supposed to visit the 8th station only but the majority decided to visit every station in this chapel. The interesting part of this visit is that every visitor who'll visit the stations will have to carry a wooden cross. The size of the cross will vary to the body-size of the one who will carry it. Also, slippers were not allowed so they will enter the station bare footed.

Manila International Auto Show 2012
Me and my brother attended the Manila International Auto Show 2012 last March 31, 2012. The exhibit is located at World Trade Center in Pasay. This is the 3rd day of the event. The exhibit composed of three parts, the main hall, tent B, and PTCC.
Before entering World Trade Center, we saw many Hyundai elantra cars displayed and some sports cars that were customized. The entrance fee was Php100 (approximately US $3) for regular attendants and a discounted fee for senior citizen. Before entering the main hall, there's already displayed cars on the lobby like the Aston Martin, Mercedes-Benz and Ford. I noticed at the center of the lobby a DJ platform wherein two models were there.
Before we went home, we joined a mini-game from Yokohama booth. The mechanics are 1. Find and take picture of at least five cars having Yokohama tires and 2. Present the pictures to Yokohama booth and once verified you can pick a prize from the prize bowl. One of the major prizes is jacket but unfortunately we only got a ballpen.
Well, that's it for my visit in Manila International Auto Show. I definitely come back again next year. You can check out my photos during my visit here.
The floor plan in the main hall |
When you entered the main hall we were greeted by cars from Jaguar and Mercedes-Benz. Gorgeous cars from these brands were displayed at the show. The event showcased the new released of new cars from different brand for our market. The cool cars I saw at the event were Ford Mustang, Hyundai Genesis, Ford Ranger pickup, Dodge Charger, Range Rover Evoque, Audi R8, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Jaguar XJ, Lamborghini and many more. I didn't saw any cars from Porsche on the day I visited the event although there is a slot in the floor plan.
The second part of the exhibit is where you'll see gadgets and accessories used in cars like navigation system, speakers, paint and many more . The place was a car park where an elevated tent was constructed. The third part of the exhibit is where other car brands are located and mostly of them are Chinese brands. The third part also showed restored and modified cars.
And the fun in car shows won't be complete without gorgeous models. My top three are:

Last Saturday, March 17, I watched the last presentation of 3rd Philippine International Pyromusical Competition. The first country performed was Italy so without further ado here's the video I captured during the fireworks display.

Peak Running Shoes
Last month, I purchased a new running shoes to replaced my 14-month old Umbro running shoes. I decided to replace my old running shoes because I felt pain in my left knee during a 7-km run although it goes away after two weeks of rest. Also, there's a part of my old shoes that's totally worn out telling me to replace it.
If I have extra money, I would buy another pair of shoes that I will use in running events/races only because ideally a runner should have two pairs of shoes, one for training and one for the race.
Peak Sport Products Co., Limited (Chinese: 匹克; pinyin: pǐ kè) is a Chinese sportswear/sports equipment company founded in 1989. PEAK SPORT S.R.L. (PEAK International) was established in 2000. PEAK International is based in Italy which focused on and new products and styles for our consumers, and distributing the PEAK brand all over the world. The company listed in Hong Kong in September 2009 and has a market capitalisation of US$1.4 bn. Peak’s turnover is likely to exceed US$500m sometime in 2011. - wikipedia.orgI bought this pair of shoes for a discounted price of PhP1,300 (roughly $30 in 1 US dollar = 42.8500 Philippine pesos exchange rate). This is the only pair of running shoes I used in my recent trainings and runs. I still used my old Umbro shoes when I go to gym.
